Nicole Germershaus

Nicole Germershaus currently serves as the Head of Manufacturing Science & Technology at Sobi - Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB (publ), overseeing life cycle activities for commercial products, drug substances, and drug products. Prior experience includes holding the position of Senior External Manufacturing Manager at Bayer Pharmaceuticals, where operational and strategic manufacturing projects were delivered alongside cross-functional teams. At Novartis, significant roles included Group Head Drug Product Development for biologics, managing pharmaceutical formulations and overseeing the implementation of a global strategy for USP 800. Other notable positions at Novartis involved heading the Manufacturing Science & Technology platform for biosimilars and biologics, as well as leading microparticle manufacturing. Educational qualifications encompass a Pharmacy degree from The Philipp University of Marburg, a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, and further studies at the University of Utah.
