Julien Picaud

Global Director of Product Marketing at Sweep

Julien Picaud has a long and varied work experience in the fields of product marketing, energy management, environmental impact assessment, and river sediment physics. In 2022, they were appointed as Global Director of Product Marketing at Sweep. From 2015-2022, they held the position of Global Senior Director of Marketing and Product Marketing at Enablon, where they were responsible for the global international team of 11 marketing experts. From 2012-2015, they were Co-founder of Moonbar, an online platform for tech enthusiasts. In 2013, they were Co-Organizer of the Paris International Tech meetup at Meetup. Also in 2013, they Co-Founded Monsieur BARBIER, an online subscription-based men's razors & shaving products delivery service. From 2009-2012, they were Lead Product Manager for Sustainability, GHG emissions & Energy Management software solutions at Enablon. In 2008, they Co-Founded treedoo, a Carbon Offsetting organisation. In 2007, they were an Energy analyst - Commodities trading at Utilyx. In 2006, they were an Environmental Impact Assessment Project Manager at Mouchel Parkman. Lastly, in 2005, they were a River Sediment Physicist at The University of Salford.

Julien Picaud has a diverse educational background. Julien first obtained a Masters in European Business from ESCP Business School in 2008. In 2012, they completed a Spring session at the Founder Institute and a Certified Scrum Product Owner at Srum Alliance. Julien then went on to obtain an MSc in Environmental Management from The University of Salford in 2005, followed by a BSc in Biological Sciences in 2004. Currently, Julien is pursuing a B2B Marketing Strategies Programme at INSEAD. Julien also holds certifications from Earth Academy (ESG Reporting Masterclass, 2021), LinkedIn (CMO Foundations: Working with Leadership and Board-of-Directors, 2020; Google Analytics Quick Start, 2020).
