Marcel Villanueva

Marcel Villanueva has held a variety of roles in the past decade. Starting in 2012, they were a Microsoft Student UCrew Core Ambassador and Microsoft Student Partner at Microsoft. In 2015, they became a Lecturer at Ateneo de Manila University. Marcel then moved on to Orange in 2018, where they were a Research Engineer. In 2021, they took on the role of Sustainability Consultant at Quantis. Most recently, they are a Climate Expert & Customer Success at Sweep, beginning in 2022.

Marcel Villanueva has a diverse educational background. Marcel obtained their High School Diploma from Holy Spirit Academy of Malolos in 2010. Marcel then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Engineering from Ateneo de Manila University in 2015. After that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Electronics Engineering from Ateneo de Manila University in 2017. Marcel also completed a Master of Science in Computer Science from LUT University in 2018, as well as a Master in Pervasive Computing and Communications for Sustainable Development from Luleå University of Technology in 2018 and a Master in Complex Systems Engineering from Universite de Lorraine in 2018. Currently, Marcel is a Doctoral student in Industrial Engineering at CentraleSupélec. Marcel also has several certifications, including Introduction à l'Analyse du Cycle de Vie - de la pensée à la pratique (edX Verified Certificate) from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne), Data-Driven Process Improvement from University at Buffalo, Hypothesis-Driven Development from University of Virginia Darden School of Business, Agile Meets Design Thinking from University of Virginia Darden School of Business, Digital Product Management: Modern Fundamentals from University of Virginia Darden School of Business, Étudier en France: French Intermediate course B1-B2 from École Polytechnique, and Achieving Student 2016-2017 - LUT School of Business and Management from LUT University.
