Matthew Padilla

Matthew Padilla serves as the Head Coach and General Manager at sweetgreen, focused on building healthier communities through real food connections since July 2024. Prior experience includes serving as Managing Partner at Tacombi from August 2021 to June 2024, where Matthew was both a business owner and active community member. Additional roles at The Pierre New York, A Taj Hotel from January 2017 to September 2021 encompassed General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Banquet Manager, and Assistant Director of Back of House Operations. Earlier experience includes Director of Operations at Whitestar Limousine Service and various management positions at Leonard’s Palazzo, including Assistant General Manager and Director of Purchasing since September 2008 to February 2014.
