Michael Robinson is the current CEO at Sweft. Prior to this, they were the VP of Ecommerce at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia from June 2012 to April 2013. Michael provided direction and strategy for the planned launch of Martha Stewart's Ecommerce website, which was to be operated by JCPenney. Michael worked directly with JCP to develop a strategy and implementation plan that would have been a highly innovative fusion of content and commerce. Unfortunately, these efforts were aborted by the infamous Macys lawsuit.
From September 2009 to May 2012, Michael was the Head of Ecommerce at Anthropologie Europe where they launched the online commerce channel for Anthropologie in the UK and Europe, including the company's first foreign language site. Michael directed all areas of the ecommerce business including marketing, technology and operations, and built a strong team. Michael also launched the "Anthro" loyalty program for the UK retail stores and supported cross-channel marketing.
From February 1999 to August 2009, Michael was the Executive Director of Marketing at Anthropologie.
In May 2013, Michael founded eStrategyIQ, where they served as Principal Consultant until October 2017.
Michael Robinson is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
