Michael Ruehlman

Michael Ruehlman has extensive work experience in the renewable energy industry. Michael served as the Head of Financial Services/Capital Markets at Swell Energy, where they led initiatives in project finance, financial platform, and product expansion. Michael was also a part of the founding team and served as the General Manager and Advisor at Activ Surgical, a venture-backed company specializing in digital surgery. Additionally, they worked as a Principal at Conduit Energy Ventures and was the Co-Founder and President of Sunlight Financial, a residential solar loan origination platform. Prior to that, they were an Operating Partner/Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Hudson Sustainable Investments and the Vice President at Main Street Power, where they focused on structured finance and fundraising for solar energy projects. Furthermore, they were involved in the co-founding of BrightGrid Renewable Energy Finance, a consumer finance company that was later acquired by Sunnova Energy Corp. Michael began their career as an Associate at Huron Consulting Group.
