Penelope Gabor has a diverse work experience in the field of energy management and efficiency. Penelope began their career as a Development Intern at the City of Racine, WI, where they assisted planning staff with various tasks and attended department meetings. Penelope then worked as a Planning and Parks Intern at Ozaukee County, WI, where they completed comprehensive planning documents for multiple towns and cities, as well as identified trees for an Emerald Ash Borer quarantine.

After that, Penelope served as an Assistant Planning & Zoning Administrator at the City of Glendale, WI, where they administered and enforced zoning and sign ordinances, advised applicants and developers, and reviewed and approved zoning applications. Penelope then joined the WECC: Wisconsin Energy Conservation Corporation as an Energy Advocate, where they assisted and educated homeowners on energy efficiency practices, coordinated and tracked homeowners' efforts, and conducted outreach and presentations to encourage participation in energy conservation programs.

Penelope Gabor completed their Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University of Minnesota in the period from 2003 to 2006.
