Peter Prakash

Peter Prakash has a strong and diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Peter currently holds the position of CIO at Swell Energy since 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated from 2011 to 2019, where they held various roles including ISS Director - Strategic Solutions, Enterprise Architecture and Business Intelligence, and ISS Solutions Manager - Architecture and Business Intelligence.

Before joining Coca-Cola, Peter worked at Progressive Insurance from 2005 to 2011 as an IT Applications Programmer Lead, leading several business critical initiatives including customer interaction data warehouse and loyalty program, claims data warehouse, and iDesk software distribution system.

From 2004 to 2005, Peter worked as a Consultant at Humana, where they were the technical lead on an innovative predictive modeling and business intelligence solution for the health insurance sector. This project was recognized as one of the top 10 innovative IT projects in 2004 by Computer World magazine.

Earlier in their career, Peter worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Saksoft from 2001 to 2002, serving clients like Citibank, N.A. and as a Systems Executive at Xansa in 2000.

Peter Prakash completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunications at Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy from 1994 to 1998. Peter then pursued further education and obtained their Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Management Information Systems from Northwest Missouri State University from 2002 to 2004.
