Shawn Jacobson

Shawn Jacobson has a diverse work experience in the fields of project development, sales management, and solar energy. Shawn started their career in 1999 as an R&D Laboratory Assistant at STIRLING TECHNOLOGIES LTD. Shawn then worked as a Sales & Marketing representative at California Solar Electric from 2008 to 2010. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Sales representative at REC Solar. In 2012, they held multiple roles including an Instructor - Solar at UC Santa Barbara, Sales Management at Schuco Solar USA LP, and General Manager - Allen Energy at Allen Construction. In 2015, they became a Sales Manager at Direct Energy before joining Swell Energy in 2016 as the Head of Project Development.

Shawn Jacobson has obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Geography from UC Santa Barbara. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Arts degree in Graphic Design from Santa Barbara City College. Additionally, they have certification in C-10 Electrical and C-46 Solar, which were obtained from the Contractors State License Board in June 2016.
