Yogesh Singh

Yogesh Singh has over 26 years of experience in the Energy industry, with their most recent position being Vice President of Operations at Swell Energy. Prior to this, they served as the General Manager and Vice President of Engineering at Motive Energy Storage Systems. Before that, they were the VP Product Strategy at NantEnergy, where they were responsible for developing and implementing Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) products using Zn-Air based electrochemistry. Singh also has extensive experience in operations and product development roles at Siemens Power and Gas, where they managed P&L accountability, asset management, budget planning, capital investment plans, EHS policy, training and development, and quality control. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in process innovation, risk management, team building, and strategic planning, among other skills.

Yogesh Singh earned their high school diploma from Fatima High School in 1990 before attending Ramnarain Ruia College, where they obtained a high school/secondary diploma and certificate in 1992. In 1996, they received a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai. Yogesh went on to pursue a Master’s Degree in Thermal Hydraulics from the University of Cincinnati, which they obtained in 2001. In addition to their formal education, Yogesh also obtained several certifications in management and production, including CPIM, LGBC, 5SC, and PMP.
