Zuha Maryam Shaikh

Zuha Maryam Shaikh has a diverse work experience starting from 2010. Zuha Maryam began as a Systems Processes Improvement Intern at Matrix Systems (Pvt.) Ltd. in 2010. Zuha Maryam then worked as a Business Development Intern at the International Center for Research on Women in 2012. Zuha Maryam continued their career at Interactive Research & Development as a Product Research Associate, where they evaluated the impact of a patient assistance application on medication adherence.

In 2017, they joined Enclude: A Palladium Company as an Assistant Program Manager and was later promoted to Program Manager WomenX. In this role, they oversaw a 12-week multicity training program for 350 businesswomen and contributed to diversity and inclusion efforts.

Shaikh later joined Swell Energy in 2019 as a Market Strategy Intern, where they analyzed and visualized the performance and pricing of in-house energy storage products. Zuha Maryam also conducted research on energy storage incentive programs and gathered customer and competitor insights.

Simultaneously, in 2019, they also worked at Stanford University as a Data Research Assistant, where they designed an Excel model to forecast payouts and trust fund stocks in the US pension system. Zuha Maryam validated and visualized data from multiple sources and made predictions for a restructured system.

In 2021, Shaikh returned to Swell Energy as a Product Manager, responsible for leading product enhancement and marketing initiatives for distributed energy resources and virtual power plants. Zuha Maryam also researched and analyzed regulatory reforms in the clean energy market.

Zuha Maryam Shaikh completed their education in a variety of institutions and fields of study. Zuha Maryam obtained a Master's Degree in International Policy with a specialization in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources from Stanford University between 2018 and 2020. Additionally, in 2019, they participated in the Ignite Certificate Program at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Prior to their graduate studies, Zuha Maryam Shaikh graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Zuha Maryam achieved a Cum Laude distinction in Politics, Communication, and Philosophy during their undergraduate studies at Mount Holyoke College.

In their early education, Zuha Maryam Shaikh attended Karachi Grammar School from 2007 to 2009. There, they pursued Advanced Level qualifications from the University of Cambridge, specializing in Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Math, and English.

In addition to their formal education, Zuha Maryam Shaikh has also obtained several certifications. In 2021, they completed the "Become a Product Manager Certification" from Udemy. Zuha Maryam also participated in the "WomenX Entrepreneurship Program" offered by The World Bank in 2018. Further, in 2009, they attended workshops conducted by Timelenders, including the "Vision Retreat Workshop," "Strategic Time Management," and "Strategic Visions Workshop."
