Declan Sharpe

Declan Sharpe has over 20 years of experience in sales and commercial roles. Declan began their career in 1999 as an Account Manager for Comdisco Continuity Services, where they achieved personal sales of over £1.7m GCR across 22 deals in their first full year. In 2002, they joined Sungard Availability Services UK & Ireland as a National Sales Manager for IT Outsourcing, where they managed a sales team and developed into managing multiple sales teams. In 2005, they received a Leadership Award (Platinum Circle) as every team member qualified for 100% Club. Declan was promoted to Regional Head of Sales in 2006, leading multiple sales teams and achieving £70m GCR and £2m MRR in annual sales. In 2018, Sharpe joined iomart as the Group Sales Director, reporting directly to the CEO. Declan was responsible for new business, account management, pre-sales, solution architects, technical account managers, professional services/consultancy, sales operations, and bid management. In 2022, Sharpe joined Xceler8 Sales as the Managing Director/SVP Sales and swIDch Ltd as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). At swIDch, they were responsible for award-winning next generation identity and authentication solutions built with OTAC (one-time authentication code).

Declan Sharpe holds a BSc(Hons) in Management Science from Loughborough University. Declan has also obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including Artificial Intelligence for Cybersecurity and The Cybersecurity Threat Landscape in July 2022, Cybersecurity Awareness: Breaking Down Cloud Security in April 2022, Cybersecurity Foundations and Cybersecurity Foundations Exam Certificate in January 2022, Cybersecurity with Cloud Computing and Cybersecurity with Cloud Computing Exam Certificate in January 2022, and Starting a Memorable Conversation in January 2022.
