Ty Newhouse-Illige

Ty Newhouse-Illige has held various engineering and research roles since 2009. In 2010, they were an Undergraduate Student Instructor at Arizona State University. From 2009 to 2018, they worked as a Graduate Researcher, Graduate Student Instructor, and Undergraduate Researcher at The University of Arizona. In 2018, they held the role of Integration Engineering Ph. D. Intern at Western Digital and Application Specialist at PVD Products. Currently, they are the Lead Engineer at Swift Coat.

Ty Newhouse-Illige has a background in physics. Ty received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Physics from Arizona State University in 2011. Ty then attended the University of Arizona, where they earned their Master of Science (M.S.) in Physics in 2014 and their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Physics in 2018. Additionally, they hold a Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
