Helina Medhin

Helina Medhin is the Head of Community at Swimply. Helina previously worked as a cycle instructor, contract attorney, and Senior Director of Community & Events II at Yelp. Helina has a passion for community building and has extensive experience planning and executing events. Helina is a skilled negotiator and has successfully negotiated partnerships with local businesses and national brands. Helina is a strategic thinker with a track record of successful budget management. Helina is also an excellent communicator and content creator.

Helina Medhin has a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Wisconsin Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government from The Ohio State University. Helina also has certification from Emtrain in Preventing Workplace Harassment, and certification from the Wisconsin Supreme Court and Texas Supreme Court in Wisconsin and Texas State Bar respectively.

Helina Medhin reports to Bunim Laskin, Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Sara Moinian - Head of Photography, Alexander Lanclos - Head of Engineering, and Sheila Cole - Head of Performance Marketing.
