Soizic Bellemere

Soizic Bellemere has a diverse range of work experience in various roles related to risk management, audit, and internal investigations. Soizic is currently working as the Director Risk & Audit at Swinburne University of Technology since March 2020. Prior to this, Soizic served as a Non Executive Director at Marriott Support Services from November 2022 to February 2024, where they were a board member and served on the Audit & Risk and Governance sub-committees. From December 2018 to January 2020, they worked as the Associate Director - Internal Audit at the National Disability Insurance Agency, managing operational audits and special reviews. Soizic also has experience in business assurance, risk management, and fraud investigations, having held roles such as Business Assurance & Optimisation Manager at EML and Group Fraud Investigations Manager at Employers Mutual Limited. Before entering the field of risk management and internal audits, Soizic worked as a Counsellor / Psychotherapist in their own private practice. Soizic has also held positions at Caltex Australia, UNSW, Allianz, A Propos Consulting, and Deloitte, gaining valuable experience in fraud detection and internal audits.

Soizic Bellemere completed a Graduate Diploma in Applied Psychology from the Australian College of Applied Professions in 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a BBA in Business Management, with a major in Finance, from OMNES Education between 1989 and 1993. In addition to their degrees, they also hold certifications such as Fellow from the Governance Institute of Australia, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from the Institute of Internal Auditors - Australia, and a Certificate IV in Government Fraud Control Investigation from the Australian Government.
