Miquel Penn

Miquel "Mick" Penn, MPA, MCA, currently serves as the Northern California Regional Director of Community Relations at Swinerton, a position held since February 2018. In this role, Miquel assists in identifying qualified MBE/WBE/SBE subcontractors, supports their preparation for bids, and fosters relationships with community organizations and local compliance officers. Prior experiences include managing the Community Construction Outreach Program at the University of California, San Francisco, where Miquel led efforts to promote local hiring for construction projects, and developing workforce programs at Herrero Builders Incorporated and Mission Hiring Hall. Miquel holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Arts from San Francisco State University.
