Darren Verebelyi

Darren Verebelyi has over 20 years of experience in R&D and Product Development. Darren has held various roles in the engineering field, beginning with a Postdoctoral Researcher at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 1997. Darren then moved on to Senior Technical Manager at American Superconductor in 2000. From 2007 to 2019, Verebelyi was the Vice President of Engineering and Director of Engineering at Global Solar Energy. In 2018, they became President of CoScientific LLC, providing Technical Manufacturing Consulting. In 2019, they took on the role of Vice President of Engineering at FreeFall Aerospace, and in 2022, they will become Director of Sensor Engineering at SWIR Vision Systems.

Darren Verebelyi earned a B.S. in Physics from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale between 1985 and 1989. Darren then went on to pursue a PhD in Physics from Clemson University, which they completed in 1997.
