Rachael Shah has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Rachael started their career in 2013 as an Account Manager at Peppermint Soda, where they were responsible for account management for SME clients. Rachael then moved on to Barrett Dixon Bell as a Digital Project Manager, managing a range of digital marketing projects and delivering training workshops. In 2015, they joined magnetic North as a Producer, where they project-managed large-scale digital projects for clients such as BBC, Redrow Homes, and the University of Leeds.
In 2016, Rachael joined the British Red Cross as a Digital Project Manager, where they received recognition for their improvements to the performance of the e-commerce website. Rachael then joined Reason Digital as a Senior Project Manager, focusing on delivering digital solutions for charities and providing Agile training and workshops to the third sector.
In 2019, Rachael joined Co-op, initially as a Delivery Manager, leading the formation and development of teams for implementing a new community platform. Rachael later took on roles such as CX Delivery Lead and Partnerships Manager, building external partner relationships and shaping innovative propositions for Co-op's community platform.
In 2022, Rachael became the Head of Delivery at Vypr, a start-up, where they established a ways of working playbook for the team. Rachael also serves as an Advisory Board Member at JCI Manchester, a regional chapter of a young professionals network, where they have held various leadership roles including Immediate Past President and President.
Currently, Rachael is working as the Head of Digital and Sustainability Strategy at Swiscot Group, starting in 2023. Additionally, they are a Non-Executive Director on the Trading Company board of the People's History Museum, providing input on income generation and participating in contract reviews.
Rachael Shah holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The Manchester Metropolitan University, which they completed on a part-time basis from 2019 to 2021. Rachael also obtained a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing from The Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing in 2015. Prior to that, Rachael completed a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Globalisation and Development (Politics) from The University of Sheffield in 2011. Rachael'sundergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Business and Spanish from Sheffield Hallam University, which they completed from 2006 to 2010. Rachael's academic journey started at South Cheshire College, Crewe, Cheshire, where they studied for an unspecified degree from 2004 to 2006. Rachael completed their secondary education at Congleton High School between 1999 and 2004.
In addition to their formal education, Rachael Shah has also obtained several certifications. These include Product Essentials 102 from Mind the Product, which they received in February 2019. Rachael also holds PRINCE2® 2009 Certifications from AXELOS Global Best Practice, obtained in October 2017, and Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from Scrum Alliance, obtained in February 2017.
