Martin Sager

Martin Sager has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Martin is currently serving as the Group CIO at Swiss Automotive Group AG since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at BKW AG as the Head Basis IT Services from February 2020 to November 2021, and as the Head of IT Service Management from November 2016 to February 2020. Before that, Martin held positions at Datwyler IT Services AG, Oerlikon, Rio Tinto, Zürcher Kantonalbank, SSI Schaefer, and Manor AG, where they gained experience in roles such as Head of End User Services, Group Lead Client Engineering, IT Systems Engineer, IT Systems Specialist, Serviceline Agent, Sales Manager, and Mitarbeiter Administration.

Martin Sager completed their education at three different institutions. From 2005 to 2012, they attended the ZHAW School of Engineering, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Informationstechnologie. Prior to that, between 2003 and 2005, they studied at the Zürcher Lehrmeistervereinigung Information, earning a degree as an Informatiker m.Fz. Lastly, from 1995 to 1998, Martin attended the KV Schaffhausen, where they pursued a degree as a Detailhandelsangesteller m. Fz.
