Ioannis Martinis

Ioannis Martinis is a distinguished legal professional with extensive experience in innovation and LegalTech, currently serving as the Head of Innovation & LegalTech and a Management Member at Coop Rechtsschutz AG since June 2009. Martinis has led various LegalTech and AI projects, specializing in contract, ICT, and IP law, while also managing digitalization strategies. In addition to roles as a Dean of Studies and Lecturer at HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich and the University of St. Gallen, Martinis holds positions as Vice President of the Swiss LegalTech Association and Ambassador for Switzerland at the European Legal Technology Association. Martinis founded Ethorial, a Legal Tech Think Tank, and manages projects related to online dispute resolution and digital economy initiatives. An active contributor to the legal community, Martinis also serves as Editor in Chief of Elusive Magazine. Martinis holds a degree in Law from the University of Basel and has furthered education at HWZ University.
