Natalie Barker-Ruchti

Natalie Barker-Ruchti is an experienced academic and consultant in the field of sport science, currently serving as an Expert in pedagogy/science for Swiss Olympic since April 2023. Natalie holds the position of Associate Professor in Sport Science, specializing in Sport Management and Sport Coaching at Örebro University since February 2019. Previously, Natalie worked as an Independent Consultant at Rudin Cantienti Rechtsanwälte AG in 2021 and held an Associate Professor role at the University of Gothenburg from 2011 to 2019. Natalie began a postdoctoral position at the University of Basel from 2007 to 2011 after earning a PhD in Human Movement Sciences from The University of Queensland, along with a Master's degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies from Victoria University of Wellington and a Bachelor of Physical Education with Honors from the University of Otago.
