Wolfgang Lickleder

Wolfgang Lickleder is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the insurance and reinsurance sectors. Currently serving as Legal Counsel for Transactions and Solutions EMEA and as Legal Counsel for Reinsurance Advisory EMEA at Swiss Re since January 2019, Wolfgang holds the title of Vice President in the Legal & Compliance department. Prior to joining Swiss Re, Wolfgang was Of Counsel at Norton Rose Fulbright in 2018 and spent five years as Legal Counsel at Guy Carpenter from 2013 to 2018. Earlier career roles included various legal advisory positions at Versicherungskammer Bayern between 2000 and 2012. Wolfgang's educational background includes degrees from OLG München and Universität Passau, as well as vocational training as an insurance clerk at Städtische Berufsschule für Versicherungswesen München.
