Ludwina Tomas-Ariaans has a strong background in legal counsel and corporate governance. From 2019 onwards, they have been serving as the Director Legal & Corporate Secretary at Swiss Steel Group. Prior to that, they worked at SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH Edelstahl GmbH for a period of 13 years, starting in 2006 and serving as a Senior Legal Counsel.
Ludwina Tomas-Ariaans received a Diplom Jurist degree in Rechtswissenschaften from The University of Bonn in 2004. Ludwina then pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) in Intellectual Property Law at the University of Düsseldorf from 2006 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed their Rechtsreferendarausbildung (training for legal assessors) at Oberlandesgericht Düsseldorf from 2004 to 2006. Ludwina's education journey began at Justus Liebig University Giessen, where they studied Rechtswissenschaften from 1998 to 2000.
