Björn Flükiger

Björn Flükiger started their work experience in 2004 at Swiss Re as an Application Engineer until 2009. In 2009, they joined Swiss International Air Lines as an Operations Planning System Engineer and worked in that role until 2014. During this time, they successfully implemented the new Crew Tracking System and the Cabin Leave and Absence Management Tool. From 2014 to 2020, they served as a Project Manager at Swiss International Air Lines, where they were responsible for implementing and introducing various systems. In 2020, they became a Business Analyst & Project Leader Senior Expert and held that position until 2022. Currently, they work at Swiss International Air Lines as the Head of Crew Systems Management & Business Intelligence.

Björn Flükiger completed their education at the Zürcher Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften, earning a BSc degree in Aviation from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they attended the KV Business School Zürich from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a BMS degree in KV Informatik. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications related to app deployment, Google Cloud, agile methodologies, and project management.
