Andreas Blank, CFA has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Andreas began their career in 1999 with the Bundeswehr (German Federal Armed Forces) in the Military Sport Division until 2001. Following this, Andreas played professional handball in the German 1st and 2nd Handball-Bundesliga from 1999 to 2008, and then in the 3rd Handball-Bundesliga from 2008 to 2011. In 2011, they transitioned to the financial sector and joined Credit Suisse, where they worked in roles such as Capital Management and Treasury - Long-term Debt and Valuation - Product Control until 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Treasury at Swisscard AECS GmbH, a position they assumed in August 2021.
Andreas Blank, CFA obtained their Diplom Kaufmann degree in Controlling, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Public Finance and Economic Policy from the University of Mannheim in 2011. Additionally, they became a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder from the CFA Institute in 2014.
