Hans C. Werner

Dr. Hans C. Werner has been Head of Group Human Resources and a member of the Group Executive Board at Swisscom since 2011. He completed his business management studies at Zurich University with a doctorate in business administration and then held posts as an economics teacher and rector of a commercial high school. In 1999, he moved to the private sector and the reinsurer Swiss Re, where he held various posts of increasing responsibility, ultimately as Head of Human Resources. Before joining Swisscom, he held a top international post in the personnel department of the elevator manufacturer Schindler. He is a member of the board of the Swiss Employers Association and President of the Institute Council of the International Institute of Management in Technology (iimt) of the University of Fribourg.
