Tharindu Malimegue

Tharindu Malimegue has a range of work experience in the field of finance and business analysis. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Junior Analyst in Financial Advisory at KPMG Ford, Rhodes, Thornton & Co - Sri Lanka Professional Services. They then transitioned to a role as a Business Solutions Executive at Pristine Solutions (Pvt) Ltd in 2012. In 2013, they became a Senior Financial Analyst at First Capital Holdings PLC - Sri Lanka, where they focused on mergers and acquisitions for clients. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Rate Analyst at efm Logistics Services Group, specializing in rates analysis and profit optimization strategies. In 2017, they joined Grant Thornton Australia as a Senior Associate in Corporate Finance, involved in business valuations across various industries. They later advanced to the position of Manager Financial Advisory before leaving in 2021. Currently, Tharindu is working at Swisse Wellness as a Corporate Finance Analyst, with a promotion to the role of Corporate Finance Senior Analyst in 2023.

Tharindu Malimegue has a BSc. in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and Business/Management from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Additionally, Tharindu has achieved associate membership in several prestigious organizations including Certified Practising Accountants (Australia), Chartered Global Management Accountant, and The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
