Christoph Schwitter

Christoph Schwitter has a diverse work experience spanning over different industry sectors. Christoph is currently the Head of Network Optimization & Planning Systems at Swissgrid AG since June 2023. Prior to this, from June 2021 to November 2022, they worked as the Head of Software Products and Executive Board Member at Realisator AG.

Before joining Realisator AG, Christoph held the position of Manager Projects Capitastra at Bedag Informatique SA from March 2015 to April 2021. In this role, they were responsible for Switzerland's leading register of real estate and also served as the Head of Quality Management for the entire software development division.

In 2014, Christoph briefly founded and led their own company, LongMa GmbH, where they worked as a CEO and Consultant. Christoph focused on pushing digitalization processes and facilitating mediation between different stakeholders.

From 2011 to 2014, Christoph worked at denkplatz gmbh, initially as a Senior Consultant and later as an Associate Partner. Christoph had the opportunity to lead the development of project portfolio management and also undertook tasks related to IT strategy, project reviews, and IT architecture.

Before their consulting roles, Christoph traveled the world as a backpacker from October 2009 to March 2011. Christoph began their career as a Software Engineer at ELCA from October 2003 to October 2004, where they gained practical coding experience.

Christoph Schwitter's education history is as follows:

From 1998 to 2003, they attended ETH Zürich and earned a Master's degree in Computer Science.

In 2007 and 2008, they studied at the University of Zurich and obtained a Diploma in Psychology.

In 2017 and 2018, they pursued a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Organizational Leadership at Berner Fachhochschule BFH.

In 2019 and 2020, they completed a MicroMasters degree in Product Management from edX.
