Samuel Walder

Samuel Walder is an experienced project manager with a strong background in electrical engineering and software development. Currently serving as a Grid Project Manager at Swissgrid AG since March 2021, Walder has previously held positions at Hinden AG Holzbau and operated independently during a notable road trip from Switzerland to South Africa. At ABB, from February 2008 to November 2018, Walder excelled in multiple roles including Senior Project Manager, R&D Project Manager, and Junior Project Manager, leading various international teams in developing complex projects such as IEC 61850 software components and protection devices. With a degree in Electrical Engineering from Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz FHNW and an apprenticeship in electronics, Walder brings a wealth of technical expertise and leadership experience to the field.
