Stephane Boissel has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Stephane started their career at Vinci Energies, where they worked as a Project Manager from 1999 to 2002, handling various electrical engineering projects. Stephane then moved on to become a Business Manager at Vinci Energies from 2003 to 2008, where they managed international projects related to medium voltage, military, nuclear, and infrastructure sectors.
In 2008, Boissel joined Alstom Power as a Sourcing Manager Key Commodity, responsible for category management of electrical systems and leading cross-sector networks. Stephane focused on establishing a competitive commodity strategy and managing a global supplier panel.
In 2015, Boissel joined GE as a Senior Commodity Leader, where they held a strategic role until 2016. Stephane then transitioned to Swissgrid AG, where they served as a Strategic Procurement Manager and later as the Head of Strategic Procurement. In these roles, they drove procurement transformation, implemented sourcing strategies, and led a category management team.
Throughout their career, Boissel has demonstrated expertise in procurement, category management, and project management, with a focus on driving efficiency, rationalizing supplier panels, and achieving sustainable procurement practices.
Stephane Boissel completed their education at three different institutions. In 1999, they enrolled in the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, where they obtained a Master of Engineering - MEng degree in Electromechanical Engineering. After a significant gap in education, they pursued further studies in 2017 at IMD. There, they completed the Learning Leadership Program, though the specific field of study is not known. In 2018, Stephane attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology - Sloan School of Management and participated in the Executive Program focused on Artificial Intelligence: Implication for Business strategies.
