The board of directors at Swissgrid has a long history of experience in the electric industry. The current president, Präsident des Verwaltungsrates, has been with the company since 2011. Before that, he worked as the Leiter Verteilnetz Management at BKW AG. He also has a long history of working with the Verband Schweizerischer Elektrizitätsunternehmen VSE, where he served as the Präsident Kommission Netzwirtschaft.
