Dirk Goovaerts

Dirk Goovaerts is a seasoned executive in the aviation and cargo sectors, currently serving as a Board Member for The International Air Cargo Association TIACA since April 2024 and the CEO for Swissport across Continental Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India, along with holding the position of Global Cargo Chair. Previous roles include CEO of Asia Pacific for Emirates Group - dnata, COO at Saudi Ground Services, and Senior Vice President at Menzies Aviation. Dirk has also held significant positions at the Belgium Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Singapore and earlier in his career at Sabena, where extensive experience in finance and administration was garnered. Dirk holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Accounting, and Information Technology from Thomas More University of Applied Sciences.
