Amy Gilmore started their career in 1998 as a Night Lab Assistant at Webster University, where they provided assistance to students and faculty with computer-related issues and was responsible for securing the labs at night.

In 2004, Amy joined Metaphase Design Group as a Research Video Editor, where they specialized in video and photography. Amy handled all video recording, editing, and product/research photography for the company's research and design teams. Amy also assisted with research projects and implemented questionnaires/studies.

From 2007 to 2012, Amy worked at Coolfire Studios as a Line Producer/Post Production Supervisor. Amy led the post-production department and scheduled video and audio projects for the company's clients. Additionally, they managed the media library for the company's archive.

In 2019, Amy joined Switch as a Freelance Producer and later transitioned to the role of Senior Project Manager. Amy worked on various projects, including video, tradeshows, immersion events, and design services for clients such as Anheuser Busch. Amy managed graphics production services and stage managed client immersion events.

From 2020 to 2021, Amy worked as a Freelance Video Editor/Director for the New York Genealogical & Biographical Society (NYGB), where they produced videos for their 2020 Conference. Amy created a sizzle reel with After Effects for the opening session.

Amy Gilmore attended Hazelwood Central High School from 1994 to 1998. Amy then went on to Webster University from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Production.
