Dr. Miranda Brawn is an Independent Non-Executive Director at Switch Mobility. During her 25+ year career, Dr. Brawn has worked extensively in the financial services and legal industries. She is a former Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan banker and senior lawyer with a wealth of expertise across multiple sectors including finance, law, technology and engineering. Over the last 10+ years Dr. Brawn has spent time as a non-executive director across public, private and third sector boardrooms where corporate governance, risk, innovation, diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) and environmental, social and governance (ESG) have been key areas of focus and where her expertise is an invaluable asset to Switch Mobility. She is founder and president of the registered charity, The Miranda Brawn Diversity Leadership Foundation (TMBDLF).

Dr. Brawn’s educational background includes Equality and Political Philosophy at Cambridge University, Leadership at Harvard University, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Strategic Management at Westminster London Business School, News Journalism at the London School of Journalism and the completion of her Bar Final Law Exams at the University of Law. Dr. Brawn is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (MCSI) and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA). In 2016 she received the ‘Points of Light’ award from former UK Prime Minister and, in 2018, was named Woman of the Year at the Women in Finance awards to name but a few of her numerous awards.
