Alexander Herrmann

Alexander Herrmann serves as the Director for the UK and Ireland and Head of Western Europe at Switzerland Tourism since August 2019. Prior to this role, Alexander held the position of Director for the Americas at Switzerland Tourism from May 2007 to May 2019. Alexander's earlier experience includes a tenure at IBM from October 2003 to February 2007 as Senior Manager for Internal and Executive Communications in IBM Research and Senior Manager for Communications in the Communications Sector. Commencing in January 2000 and concluding in December 2002, Alexander was the Manager of Communications at IBM. Alexander holds a Lic. Oec. from the University of St.Gallen, obtained between 1988 and 1992, and an Eidg. Dipl. as a PR Consultant from the Swiss Public Relations Institute, completed between 1996 and 1998.
