Previously, they worked at SWBC for several roles. From March 2016 to April 2022, they held the position of SVP of Payments. Before that, from February 2014 to February 2016, they worked as the Director of Technology Strategies - Financial Institution Group.

Jason was self-employed as an Independent Consultant - Product Management from December 2013 to February 2014.

💳 Jason briefly worked as a Project Manager at Reddwerks Corporation from June 2013 to December 2013.

Their longest tenure was at SWBC, where they held multiple positions over the years. From January 2010 to May 2013, they served as the Director of Technology Strategies - AutoPilot Services. 💳 Jason was responsible for online product development, managing relationships with strategic partners, and increasing utilization of an online insurance verification application.

From September 2007 to June 2010, they worked as a Project Manager, handling approximately 25 projects and facilitating implementation of SWBC services with financial institutions.

Jason also served as a Web Architect from June 2004 to September 2007, translating business requirements into functional and technical designs and developing an online payment system.

💳 Jason started their career at SWBC as a Senior Web Developer from April 2002 to July 2004, collaborating with different departments to develop the intranet and consumer-facing web tools.

Before that, Jason worked as a Web Developer at SWBC from September 2000 to April 2002.

Jason O'Brien pursued higher education in two different institutions. From 1997 to 2000, they attended Texas Tech University and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree, with a field of study in Management Information Systems. Later, in 2012 for a year, Jason attended The University of Texas at Austin, where they completed a Master of Science in Technology Commercialization, with a focus on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies.
