Chris Haupt

Chris Haupt is the current VP of Engineering at Swoogo. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director of Engineering at New Relic, Inc. from October 2015 to February 2021. Chris was responsible for establishing the product line "New Relic Infrastructure", which was aimed at the Ops world and leveraged technology within the New Relic family. Chris also provided broad leadership and coaching to build new teams, turn-around those that weren't healthy, and grow the careers of some fantastic engineers, engineering managers, product managers, and other functions. Chris has also worked on a variety of great tech including Go, Java, Python, Ruby, JavaScript, Objective-C/Swift, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, and lots of AWS Cloud technology.

Chris Haupt has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same school.
