Dan McGrotty is currently an Application Support Specialist at Swoogo. Prior to that, they worked as a Customer Support Specialist at Procare Solutions from October 2019 to July 2021. In that role, they received tickets, emails, calls, and chats via Zendesk, Intercom, and Salesforce handling customer questions and troubleshooting product issues. Dan also handled both tier 1 and tier 2 support, documented and escalated issues and product enhancements as Jira tickets to our engineering and product development teams, and met weekly with those teams to review these. Additionally, they interviewed and trained new hires for the tier 1 customer support team, created customer-facing help articles, provided customer product trainings as needed, and reached out to enterprise accounts when needed to gather details regarding ongoing technical issues.
Before working at Procare Solutions, McGrotty was a Housing Navigation Case Manager at the Mental Health Association of Monmouth County from April 2017 to January 2018. Dan then worked as a Clinical Research Assistant at Monmouth University from September 2016 to December 2016. Their first job out of college was as an Assistant Product Manager at Portmeirion Group Limited from January 2018 to September 2019.
Dan McGrotty received a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology from Monmouth University. Dan also received a Web and Interactive Media & Computer Engineering from Pennsylvania College of Technology. Lastly, they received a High School Diploma in General Studies from Glen Rock High School.
