Shanda Coppage

Shanda Coppage has a diverse work experience in the field of recruiting and talent development. Shanda began their career as a Recruiter for Stephen James Associates, an Aerotek Company, specializing in accounting and finance positions. During their time there, they performed full life cycle recruiting and sourced candidates for various roles.

Later, they joined Swoon and held several roles within the company. Shanda started as a Recruiter for professional services, where they again conducted full life cycle recruiting and utilized traditional and nontraditional sources to attract candidates. Shanda then moved on to become a Recruiting Manager, leading a team and filling roles for large enterprise clients across the country.

Shanda then transitioned into a role as a Training Manager, where they were responsible for planning, designing, and implementing an organizational transformation initiative related to training and development. Shanda also conducted orientation sessions and arranged on-the-job training for new employees.

Most recently, Shanda served as the Director of Training and Development at Swoon, where they further expanded their responsibilities and expertise in the field. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Recruiting, Swoon Grupo Mexico.

Shanda Coppage attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Organizational Communication, General. In December 2019, they also obtained a certification in "How to Design and Deliver Training Programs" from LinkedIn.
