Air Integration Specialist at Swoop Aero

Matthew Grayland has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. In 2012, they began as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer at Xstrata Zinc, where they were responsible for monitoring the condition of critical equipment, implementing engineering solutions to improve plant reliability, determining site lubrication requirements, developing downtime reporting capabilities for underground crushing and conveying plant, assisting with maintenance upgrades across the plant, and capital project work up to $400,000. In 2014, they moved to Airservices Australia as an Air Traffic Controller. In 2017, they became the Business Development Coordinator at La Trobe University, where they were responsible for the education, economic, social and cultural benefit of Victorians and for wider Australian and international communities. In 2019, they took on the role of Customer Support and Service Manager at Leonardo. Currently, they are an Air Integration Specialist at Swoop Aero.

Matthew Grayland's education history includes a Diploma in Aviation from Air Services Australia between 2014 and 2015, and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from RMIT University between 2006 and 2010.
