Benjamin Young

Benjamin Young has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Benjamin is currently working as a Business Development and Strategy Consultant at Sworkit, a position they have held since February 2019. Previously, Benjamin served as the Chief Executive Officer at Sworkit from October 2010 to January 2019. Benjamin also held the role of Board Member at Nexercise Inc starting in October 2010. Benjamin became a Member of YEC in October 2014 and joined Founder Institute as a Mentor in 2013. Prior to these roles, they worked as the Managing Director at C.Y. Strategy from September 2009 to October 2011. Before that, Benjamin served as the Senior Director of Products & Strategy at Angel.com from January 2009 to October 2009. Benjamin also held the position of Director of Technology | Senior Architect at Precipia Systems, Inc. from May 2005 to September 2008. Benjamin started their career at Angel.com, holding various Senior Technical Lead positions from April 2000 to May 2005. Benjamin co-founded Web Emerse LLC, where they served as the CTO from December 2001 to April 2003. Benjamin began their professional journey as a Consultant at Anderson Consulting / Accenture from February 1998 to April 2000.

Benjamin Young pursued their education starting in 1993 when they attended the University of Virginia. Benjamin completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Economics in 1997. After a few years, they decided to further enhance their skills and knowledge and enrolled at The Wharton School in 2007. Benjamin successfully obtained an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management and Strategy in 2009. Following this, in 2010, they briefly attended The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School for an unspecified degree or field of study.
