Matthew Kien-Meng Ly

Matthew Kien-Meng Ly has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Matthew Kien-Meng is currently working as the Head of Operations at SWTCH since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Day & Ross from 2021 to 2023 as the Head of Strategy / Senior Director. Matthew also has experience at Bain & Company where they served as a Manager from 2017 to 2021, leading case teams and providing strategic consulting services to clients. Before that, they co-founded Shozee, a mobile application for movie and show recommendations, from 2016 to 2019. Matthew also worked as an Associate at Oliver Wyman in 2016. Prior to that, they held positions at Citi as a Vice President in 2015 and as a Policy Analyst to City Councillor Cheung at the Cambridge, Massachusetts City Council from 2015 to 2015. Matthew started their career as a Summer Associate at Sidley Austin LLP in 2014 and at Morrison & Foerster LLP in 2013. In 2010, they founded MKLY Consulting Incorporated where they served as a Founder/Consultant, Project Manager, and Business Analyst until 2012. Throughout their career, Matthew has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive impactful results for their clients and organizations.

Matthew Kien-Meng Ly pursued their higher education at two renowned institutions. From 2002 to 2007, they attended the University of Waterloo, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Electrical Engineering. Following their undergraduate studies, Matthew enrolled at Harvard Law School from 2012 to 2015, where they earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, further specializing in the field of JD.
