Omar Selim

Omar Selim is the current VP of Global Travel at Swvl. Omar has also previously worked as the VP of Saudi Arabia and North Africa at noon, as well as the Sr. Manager of Global Expansion at Amazon. Prior to that, they were the Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer at Jumia Group, where they built the leading e-commerce group in Africa. Omar has also worked at Orange, where they managed multiple programs, and Motorola Solutions, where they were in charge of global supply chain and operations.

Omar Selim has a MBA in Operations Management from the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago, a B.Sc. in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, a Six Sigma Black Belt from France Telecom, and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Motorola.
