Lon Rice

Lon Rice has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, having worked in various roles for different organizations. Lon'smost recent position is at Sybersense, where they currently serve as a Senior Security Engineer. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Manager Network Operations for US Fleet Forces Command from 2018 to 2021. Before that, they were a Senior Network Engineer for Joint Communications Unit from 2013 to 2018. Lon also served as a Lead System Engineer for Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal Expeditionary Support Unit One from 2009 to 2013. Lon began their career in the US Navy as a System Administrator from 2001 to 2009.

Lon Rice obtained a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Cyber Security from Southern New Hampshire University from 2015 to 2019. Additionally, they obtained numerous certifications in various fields such as blockchain, security, networking, and cloud computing from institutions like IBM, CompTIA, Cisco, Amazon Web Services, ISC², and GIAC Certifications between 2010 and 2022.
