Didier Canovas

Didier Canovas has extensive experience in the field of quality assurance (QA), particularly in the gaming industry.

Didier is currently serving as the Head of QA at SYBO since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at King from 2016 to 2021, where they held the position of Snr. QA Team Lead from July 2018 to January 2021, and Senior QA Analyst from April 2016 to June 2018.

Before joining King, Didier worked at Apple as a Localization French QA from May 2015 to January 2016. Didier also has experience working at Softonic as a QA Specialist from April 2012 to December 2014, where they were responsible for dedicated QA for a specific product.

Earlier in their career, Didier was employed at PopCap Games as a QA Engineer from June 2011 to April 2012, where they worked on various projects including Plants VS Zombies, Bejeweled, and Peggle. Didier also worked at Activision in different roles from 2007 to 2011, including QA Localisation Lead from April 2009 to June 2011, QA Localisation Floor Lead from June 2008 to March 2009, and Localisation QA Tester from June 2007 to June 2008.

Throughout their career, Didier has demonstrated strong competencies in QA processes, resource management, test planning, and cross-functional communication. Didier possesses in-depth knowledge of office tools and has gained valuable experience working with renowned gaming companies.

Didier Canovas received their Licence in English from UPVD Alumni, where they studied from 2005 to 2008. In addition to their degree, they obtained the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification from iSQI Gmbh in May 2013.
