Chitthampalam Murali

Chitthampalam Murali has had a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Chitthampalam most recently worked as a Senior Business Process Lead at Sydney Water starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Profitable Wisdom Consulting Pty Ltd from September 2021. Murali also worked at Stockland as a Consultant - Operational Excellence from January to September 2022.

Chitthampalam'sprevious experience includes leadership positions at Katonic.ai, where they held the roles of Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Strategy and Operations from February 2021 to October 2021 and from July 2020 to January 2021, respectively. Chitthampalam also served as the Process Excellence Lead at Catholic Healthcare from November 2018 to June 2020.

Murali's extensive background includes roles at Commonwealth Bank, where they were a Senior Manager in Digital Lean from July 2016 to November 2018, Manager in ES Productivity from July 2014 to July 2016, Manager in Group Strategic Initiatives from January 2009 to August 2014, and Process Improvement Coach from 2004 to 2009. Chitthampalam began their career as a Project Engineer at Nippon Steel & Sumikin Engineering Co., Ltd. from 1997 to 1999 and as a Field Engineer at McDermott International, Ltd from 1992 to 1995.

Chitthampalam Murali has pursued education in various fields and institutions. Chitthampalam obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Engineering from the University of Peradeniya. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts in Information Technology (MAIT) degree from the University of Sydney. Additionally, they completed a Lean Six Sigma - Black Belt program at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd. Chitthampalam further expanded their knowledge in business administration and management by attending several short courses at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. These courses include "Innovating with the Business Model Canvas," "Digital Transformation," and "Design Thinking for Innovation." Furthermore, they hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the International University of Japan.
