Lebo Xu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and development, currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist at Syensqo since January 2025, focusing on market and technology assessments and developing solutions for resource management. Prior roles include Lead R&D Scientist at WestRock Company, where responsibilities encompassed new product development, operational support, and coaching junior researchers, and various senior roles at MeadWestvaco, Nelum Sciences, the University of Pennsylvania, and North Carolina State University, contributing significantly to polymer science and surface engineering. Lebo Xu holds a Ph.D. in Polymer Science from North Carolina State University, along with an M.S. and B.S. in Polymer and Material Science from Shanghai University.
