Amit Mahindra is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in medicinal and pharmaceutical chemistry. Currently, Amit serves as Senior Scientist II at Sygnature Discovery since November 2022, after progressing from Senior Scientist I. Prior to this role, Amit contributed to academic research as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow from December 2016 to September 2022 and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Newcastle University from May 2014 to November 2016, focusing on developing new drugs to treat Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Amit earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, where studies took place from 2009 to 2012, following completion of secondary education at Delhi Public School - R. K. Puram.
