Bethany Staff

Bethany Staff has had a diverse range of work experiences in various roles and industries. Bethany is currently working at Sylvera as the Head of Finance, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to that, they were a Financial Controller at Sylvera from October 2021 to April 2022.

Bethany also founded Nebula Learning in 2018 and continues to be involved with the company as its Founder.

Before joining Sylvera and Nebula Learning, Bethany worked at Tessian as a Finance Manager from October 2020 to October 2021, where they played a crucial role in protecting businesses from advanced threats on email. Prior to that, they were a Finance Executive at Tessian from June 2019 to October 2020.

Bethany has also gained valuable experience in the public sector, working as a Senior Management Accountant at the Ministry of Justice UK from August 2018 to June 2019. Bethany was a Finance Business Partner at HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) from October 2017 to July 2018 and a Change Manager at the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) from October 2016 to September 2017.

Additionally, Bethany has international work experience as an English Language Assistant at I.E.S. La Bureba in 2014 and as an Assistant Restaurant Manager at Trawlers on the Quay Restaurant from June 2014 to September 2014.

Overall, Bethany brings a diverse skill set and a wide range of experiences to their current role as the Head of Finance at Sylvera.

Bethany Staff began their education at Looe Community School from 2005 to 2010, where they completed their GCSEs. From 2010 to 2012, they attended Truro and Penwith College, where they obtained an International Baccalaureate. Bethany then went on to the University of Leeds from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in BA Economics and Spanish. Most recently, from 2016 to 2020, they attended ICAEW, where they pursued an ACA degree in Accounting.
