Tommi Pääkkö

Tommi Pääkkö's work experience includes roles at various companies. Tommi is currently a Principal Engineer at Symbio and has been with the company since 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as a Software Engineer at Symbio from 2021 to 2023.

Tommi also has experience at Webbidevaus.fi, where they work as a Podcaster since 2021.

In 2009, Tommi founded Sofico Finland, where they served as the Owner. Here, they focused on providing artisanal web solutions using technologies such as Laravel, Statamic, Svelte, and MariaDB.

Before founding their own company, Tommi worked at Bittium as a Senior Specialist from 2018 to 2021. In this role, they were the technical lead for medical technologies, specializing in web development and software architecture.

From 2013 to 2018, Tommi worked at Symbio Finland in various positions such as Chief Innovation Executive and Software Designer. Tommi facilitated Design Sprints and Design Thinking workshops, helping clients improve their businesses. Tommi also worked with various clients in different industries, taking on roles such as scrum team lead, lead developer, client contact person, and web developer.

Tommi's earlier experience includes roles as a Web Developer at LumoLink in 2013 and at Avalon Oy from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, they worked as a Software Developer at IT-Systems Finland from 2008 to 2009.

Tommi Pääkkö received a Bachelor of Engineering in Media Technology from Keski-Pohjanmaan ammattikorkeakoulu from 2002 to 2007.
